Selected Cycle Gear Review

Nike 'Tete de Course' short-sleve merino wool jersey

February 3, 2008 - 21:02 — tomcooper
Our rating:
4

There is a lot to hate about this jersey, but even more to love.
On the debit side wearing a yellow jersey is for w*nk**rs or real Tour de France stage winners, secondly its Nike, and thirdly it is very expensive. But I would still buy another one because its comfy, doesn't smell and surprisingly hard-wearing.

Thermarest Trail Lite and Prolite 3

August 12, 2008 - 22:15 — tomcooper
Our rating:
4

Thermarests are expensive but the comfort and warmth is streets ahead of a cheap closed-cell foam mat. I have been using a Trail Lite for a number of years (it was called something else when I bought it) and recently bought a Prolite as a friend was joining me on a trip.
