Macpac Microlight tentAugust 12, 2008 - 20:50 — tomcooperThey know a thing or two about rain in New Zealand and not surprisingly they know a thing or two about making waterproof tents. I've had two Macpac tents and they are the only ones I've owned that are genuinely downpour proof.

Cycle Touring in Ireland is published
Cycle touring in Ireland is slowly becoming available in bookshops and, of course, the all important Amazon.
I had a call from my dad last night - and he'd received his copy. The book was also advertised in the CTC - Cyclists Touring Club - magazine this month. So it will be interesting to see how sales go. I'm really not sure how the economics of writing are going to work out. I am going to have to sell an awful lot of books to even cover my costs.
Whatever happens I had an absolutely fantastic time writing it and nothing can ever take that away.
