Opinions are like bums, everyone has got one, and if you are a cyclist your rear-end is going to send an awful lot of time on a saddle. Maybe that's why this vital piece of equipment polarises cycling opinion so much and, it has to be said, Brooks leather saddles are at the cutting edge of the debate.
Well I for one think these saddles are great and I have never found them uncomfortable, even when new. I guess that makes be a hard-job - or more accurately a hard-arse - but each to their own.
If you are camping you will have to take some sort of fire-lighting equipment with you. I have long-since given up on matches and all I take with me now is this nifty piece of gear from Sweden.
In these eco-friendly days I have never actually lit a fire with it but it lights any stove - alcohol or gas - with an unerringy spectacular shower of sparks. I've had mine for five or six years and they seem to last practically forever.
